Centennial 40, Mojave 15 -- At Centennial, Jarvis Jones scored four touchdowns on six touches to lead the second-ranked Bulldogs (7-0, 2-0) past Mojave (0-7, 0-2). Jones scored on runs of 77, 65 and 44 yards while gaining 192 yards on only five carries. He also caught one pass for a 15-yard touchdown from quarterback Cory Gray. The Bulldogs' Melvin Matlock, the area's second-leading rusher, ran for 181 yards on 19 carries and had touchdown runs of 3 and 2 yards. Centennial also dominated on defense, limiting Mojave to 77 total yards. Rattlers quarterback Christopher Schneider was sacked eight times. William Stirgus (47-yard run on a fumble recovery) and Christopher Schneider (12-yard run) scored Mojave's touchdowns.
