Durango 49, Clark 24
-- At Durango, the 10th-ranked Trailblazers (5-3, 3-1) gained 334 yards on the ground and score seven rushing touchdowns to defeat the Chargers (4-4, 2-2). The Trailblazers' Armando Buckley scored on runs of 6, 12 and 26 yards. Durango's Allen McIntyre led the balanced rushing attack, carrying nine times for 95 yards, including a 50-yard touchdown after a Chargers turnover. Clark turned the ball over four times, leading to 21 Durango points. Chargers quarterback Joshua Tuitele connected with Dwayne Davison on a 50-yard touchdown pass, but also threw two interceptions before leaving midway in the third quarter with an injury. Second-string quarterback Michael Chavez completed 5 of 11 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns, a 58-yarder to Davison and a 15-yarder to Mike Philogene. Durango's other touchdowns came on a 10-yard run by Isaiah Whigham, a 1-yard run by J.R. Thomas and a 2-yard run by La Broi Walton. Davison finished with 163 yards on four catches.

Centennial 40, Mojave 15
-- At Centennial, Jarvis Jones scored four touchdowns on six touches to lead the second-ranked Bulldogs (7-0, 2-0) past Mojave (0-7, 0-2). Jones scored on runs of 77, 65 and 44 yards while gaining 192 yards on only five carries. He also caught one pass for a 15-yard touchdown from quarterback Cory Gray. The Bulldogs' Melvin Matlock, the area's second-leading rusher, ran for 181 yards on 19 carries and had touchdown runs of 3 and 2 yards. Centennial also dominated on defense, limiting Mojave to 77 total yards. Rattlers quarterback Christopher Schneider was sacked eight times. William Stirgus (47-yard run on a fumble recovery) and Christopher Schneider (12-yard run) scored Mojave's touchdowns.

Desert Pines vs. Valley (HS Football)

Desert Pines 47, Valley 0 -- At Valley, Cornell Johnson ran for five touchdowns, and Jaguars quarterback Marcel Johnson passed for two, sparking third-ranked Desert Pines (6-0, 2-0) over the Vikings (0-6, 0-2).
Cornell Johnson scored on runs of 1, 3, 5, 8 and 14 yards while gaining 142 yards on 19 carries.Marcel Johnson completed 16 of 19 passes for 224 yards, including touchdowns of 25 yards to Mike Washington and 16 yards to Kawon Walker. Walker led Jaguars receivers with nine catches for 117 yards.
The Jaguars dominated on both sides of the ball, compiling a 419-109 edge in total yards and causing four turnovers.
B.J. Williams recovered two fumbles for Desert Pines.
Running back Major Grey rushed for 57 yards on seven carries to lead Valley. --Arnold Knightly

Faith Lutheran 44, The Meadows 0
-- At The Meadows, John Nixon rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries as the Crusaders (3-2) defeated the Mustangs (0-5).
It was Faith Lutheran's first victory over The Meadows since 1994. Nixon scored on runs of 5, 37 and 25 yards, and Jason Case completed 8 of 14 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown. The Crusaders' Marcus Odor intercepted Jordan Kelley's first pass and returned it 32 yards to start the scoring. Adam Schlachter led the Mustangs with 99 yards rushing, 68 yards coming on his first carry.
