Western 19, Sierra Vista 14
-- At Sierra Vista, quarterback Julian Sample hit Demario Harris for a 16-yard touchdown pass with 23 seconds left as the Warriors rallied to defeat the Lions.
Following a missed field goal, Sierra Vista (1-3, 0-1 Southwest) took over the ball on their own 20-yard line with 2:21 remaining.
Three plays later, Western defensive lineman Ronald Paulo recovered a fumbled snap on the 24 to set up the winning score.

Sample led the Warriors (2-3, 1-0) with 115 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown.
Steven Hill led the Lions with 31 carries for 140 yards.
Sierra Vista's Brandon Harris caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Whittaker midway through the first quarter to give the Lions a 14-0 lead.

The Warriors responded with Sample's 2-yard touchdown run and a 19-yard scoring run by Stephon Sanford to make the score 14-13 at halftime.

Coronado 46, Sierra Vista 0
-- At Coronado, Andrew Hatch completed 10 of 24 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns to lead the ninth-ranked Cougars (3-1) past Sierra Vista (1-3).
Koury Fingers had touchdown receptions of 32 and 15 yards, and Christopher Desjardins caught a 20-yard scoring pass.

Coronado's Quincy Poole had 119 yards rushing on 21 carries, with touchdowns of 34 and 10 yards.
The Cougars limited the Lions to 76 yards (40 passing, 36 rushing).

Bishop Gorman 70, Liberty 0
-- At Liberty, DeMarco Murray scored six touchdowns and rushed for 178 yards on nine carries to lead the Gaels (1-2) past the Patriots (0-2).
Murray scored on runs of 43, 34, 23, 11, 5 and 2 yards.
Bishop Gorman running back Ryan Reynolds had touchdown runs of 12 and 9 yards.

D.J. Senter carried six times for 80 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown run.

The Gaels scored all 10 touchdowns on the ground while rushing for 300 yards.

Sierra Vista 7, Eldorado 0
-- At Sierra Vista, Chet Whitley caught a 70-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Whittaker with just under eight minutes left, lifting the Lions (1-1) over the Sundevils (0-2).
Whittaker completed 7 of 18 passes for 182 yards to lead the Lions.

Sundevils defender Chris Funes recovered a fumbled screen pass on Sierra Vista's 10-yard line late in the third quarter.
But Eldorado was unable to take advantage, with the drive ending in a blocked field goal.

A 30-yard pass by Eldorado's Brandon Godfrey into the end zone was batted down by the Lions as time expired.
