• Cimarron-Memorial 29, Eldorado 0 -- At Eldorado, Jabrone Newman tackled Sundevils punter Shane Manuele in the end zone for a safety, then returned the ensuing kickoff 59 yards for a touchdown as the ninth-ranked Spartans (2-2) rolled past Eldorado (0-4).
Newman also had an 83-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Cimarron's Chat Martin had a 72 yards rushing, including touchdown runs of 6 yards and 1 yard.
Brooks led Eldorado with 58 yards rushing on 19 carries.

• Boulder City 40, Faith Lutheran 14 -- At Faith Lutheran, Devin Houser ran for 167 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown on the Eagles' first play of the second half, as Boulder City routed the Crusaders.
The Eagles' Travis Rowe added two more touchdowns, on runs of 6 and 56 yards. Mike Owens led the Eagles, passing for 131 yards and two touchdowns.--Arnold Knightly

Western 5, Valley 0 -- At Western, Christopher Bannister's 34-yard field goal at the end of the first half was all the Warriors needed to beat the Vikings and give second-year coach Charles Anthony his first victory at Western.The Vikings failed to score twice inside Western's 5, turning the ball over on downs both times.Western's Vidal White tackled Cody Human for a safety after a botched Valley punt early in the fourth quarter for the only other points of the game. -- Arnold Knightly
